A farewell programme was arranged for the candidates of SSC exam 2022 of SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka on 28 may 2022 in “Helmut Kutin” auditorium of the college. The students of class X organized it. While entering the auditorium, each of the candidates was given flowers and a welcome card by the students of class X. Then the programme began at 9:40 a.m. with the recitation from the Holy Quran by a student of class X. The programme was divided into two parts--discussion part and cultural part. In the discussion part, firstly, an SSC candidate delivered a speech sharing the experience of his school life. He expressed his gratitude and deep love to the teachers for their teaching, caring and nurturing. Next, one of the class teachers of the SSC candidates and finally, the Principal of the college delivered their important speeches for the candidates and also for the other students. The Principal wished the students welfare and advised them to prepare themselves to serve the nation in future. The discussion part ended at 10:00 a.m. that followed a mesmerising cultural part. In this part the students of class X showed their performance of singing, dancing and staging a drama. Finally, three SSC candidates sang two songs on the request of the students of class X. After the end of the cultural part,all the students were distributed lunch boxes and then the whole programme came to an end at 11:30 a.m.
