Hermann Gmeiner Scholarship Giving Ceremony was held in SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka on 29 January 2023 in Helmut Kutin auditorium of the college. The Principal of the college presided over the programme. Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages International in Bangladesh and Chairman of the College Governing Body was present as the Chief Guest. Respected Project Director, SOS Children’s Villages, Dhaka, Md. Saiful Islam also graced the programme as the Special Guest. The programme started at 10:30 a.m. with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Then the Principal of the college delivered her addressing speech congratulating the students. Next, the chief guest handed over the certificates and the scholarship cheque to the students from class I to class XI, whose academic performance was excellent in 2022. After completing giving, he delivered an important speech inspiring the students to be sincere, responsible and moral besides doing well academically. He also advised them to be good human beings and to follow the path of Dr. Hermann Gmeiner. The whole programme ended at 11:00 a.m.
